WOWIO, Inc. Announces Deal with Ingram Content Group

New partnership will bring hundreds of thousands of titles by end of year

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--WOWIO, Inc., an established market leader in the eBook marketplace with an online destination (www.wowio.com) providing access to rich digital media content and eBooks, today announced that they have entered into a deal with Ingram Content Group to add hundreds of thousands of titles from the Ingram catalogue to the WOWIO marketplace. Content will include titles from major publishers such as Random House, McGraw-Hill, and Harlequin Enterprises Limited.

Starting on November 1, WOWIO users will have access to hundreds of thousands of titles currently in the Ingram catalogue. Further integration of the eBooks will be completed over the coming months. New titles updated in the Ingram catalogue will be automatically added to the WOWIO library. The titles from Ingram will include ePub, Adobe PDF and eReader formats and will include traditional DRM regulations.

WOWIO will benefit from the increased amount of titles available for its readers to browse, discover and purchase providing an increase of traffic and revenue through WOWIO’s sponsorship model. WOWIO provides readers with free or discounted eBooks by bringing on advertisers to sponsor specific titles or categories. Although the Ingram library will be available for retail purchase only, their presence on the site allows WOWIO to attract more readers and introduce them to a wide variety of sponsored content ranging from comics, graphic novels and classic literature.
