Julie Moreno Rehder Joins ELM Resources as Director of Business Development

OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ELM Resources, a leading provider of technology products and services to the higher education financial aid industry, today announced the appointment of Julie Moreno Rehder as Director of Business Development. Julie will be responsible for supporting the sales growth of ELM’s industry-leading student loan delivery systems. In this position, Julie will work closely with both ELM’s loan providers and with ELM’s school clients in the delivery of products and services.

Julie brings over 17 years of student loan industry and financial aid experience. Prior to joining ELM, she was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing with MEDinvest/GRADinvest and also held several business development positions at NorthStar/T.H.E., PNC Bank and TERI. In addition to her experience with lenders, Julie also has extensive financial aid experience having acted as the Director of Financial Aid at several San Francisco Bay Area schools. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Stanford University.

In July, 2010, ELM re-affirmed its commitment to provide services to its customers through a Board approved long term plan that allows ELM to continue its mission as a mutual benefit corporation providing processing and disbursement services into the future. ELM is presently working through several changes to right size its operations in a post-FFELP environment. However, ELM is fully prepared to provide the same high level of technical and operational service as in the past.
