ALEXANDRIA, Va.--()--E-Days is the largest and most important annual event that promotes Swedish–American entrepreneurship, trade and investments. Every year it brings together hundreds of decision makers, allowing them to share ideas, listen to a wide range of top level speakers from industry, trade organizations and political decision makers. E-Days is the key networking events for companies large and small, professionals and experts, as well as municipalities and business regions in America and Sweden.
One of the most popular features of E-Days is its business matchmaking process, where delegates connect with other delegates that match their interests and preferences.
A new feature this year is a group of boot camps, where participants receive intensive training in how to do business in the USA. Areas covered this year includes law, finance, sales and procurements.
SACC-USA’s Entrepreneurial Days 2010 opens at the Elite Hotel Park Avenue, located on Kungsportsavenyn in the very center of Gothenburg. The runs from November 8 through November 10.
There will be no less than 48 speakers, including Jan Åke Jonsson, CEO of Saab Automobile, Victor Muller, CEO of Spyker Cars, Doug Domenech, Secretary of Natural Resources, State of Virginia, Anders Rydåker, CEO of District Energy in St. Paul, MN, Matthew Barzun, United States Ambassador to Sweden.
On November 10, E-Days offers four Industry Specific Programs focusing on the environment, sustainability and energy: Waste Recycling & Bio-fuels Production, Sustainable Transport Systems, Energy Efficient Buildings & Sustainable Community Planning, Venture, Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
Most of SACC-USA’s 19 member chambers will also be represented at E-Days. These chambers function as gates to 37 U.S. states and offer a wide business network that Swedish and American companies can take advantage of.
Finally, SACC-USA will introduce its new office in Sweden, which has been made possible through support from the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.
