Humana’s New Innovation Center Created to Help People Live Healthier Lives and Achieve Lifelong Well-Being

New center at company headquarters brings together Humana innovations in one workspace; also enables visitors to create personalized well-being roadmap

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Whether helping its Medicare members “age in place,” creating a video game that gets kids off the couch and on the playground, or designing a prescription-drug plan that helps people save money on their health care, innovation is the key ingredient to making these programs succeed for Humana members.

Today, Humana Inc. (NYSE: HUM) is celebrating the grand opening of a new Innovation Center at the company’s headquarters in Louisville, Ky., where Humana is displaying its latest innovations, designing programs and products of the future, and creating ways to help people achieve lifelong well-being.

From the Innovation Center’s “Immersion Room,” which features video technology designed to showcase innovations in a memorable way, to a series of 12 displays where people can learn, play and explore the latest in health and health-benefits innovation, Humana has created a workspace where imagination can thrive.

Rajamannar described for visitors how the new center works, and the role it will play in the months and years ahead as Humana associates begin work on the next generation of people-focused innovations.
