“Building Bridges: Correctional Best Practices, Worldwide Perspectives”
The International Corrections & Prisons Association (ICPA) Conference, “Building Bridges: Correctional Best Practices, Worldwide Perspectives,” will explore how partnerships and collaborative work with organizations can improve service delivery across the correctional spectrum. Participants will learn how prisons and community agencies can work effectively to improve the transition from custody to the community. The event will be held at Ghent University in Belgium. Melamed will present Tuesday, October 26 from 11:00 a.m.
“It is critical for correctional institutions to know and understand the technologies available to best secure their facilities and ensure safety of employees and the public,” said Melamed. “CellAntenna offers a proven set of custom engineered solutions to detect and jam cellular signals within a designated area to protect against illegal mobile phone usage in prisons. Despite efforts to crack down on the use of contraband mobile phones in prisons, correctional facilities around the world struggle to combat this issue. Our solutions eliminate this problem. We hope to one day implement our jamming technology in all correctional facilities.”
