The companies will integrate their flagship BI products, Endeca Latitude and Roambi™ ES3, to let mobile workers search and explore data to answer critical questions from the palms of their hands.

Endeca Latitude combines search and BI to help people find what they need and understand what they found. MeLLmo’s Roambi gives on-the-go workers interactive visualizations of company data on a mobile device anytime, anywhere. The companies’ new mobile BI applications will encourage people to explore and ask new questions – even on diverse and changing data – guiding them to better decisions.

Endeca and MeLLmo have already begun work to integrate Endeca Latitude with Roambi ES3, allowing employees at all levels of the organization to push data from Endeca discovery applications to iPhone® or iPadTM visualizations for further analysis anytime, anywhere. The Roambi ES3 server communicates with Endeca Latitude to make secure, interactive data visualizations available on mobile devices. This first co-developed offering is targeted for delivery by the end of 2010.
In the first half of 2011, the companies will deliver new mobile BI applications that provide fully integrated search, Guided Navigation® capabilities, and analytics on structured data and unstructured content. These discovery applications, based on Endeca's MDEX Engine™ technology, the industry's only hybrid search-analytical database, will leverage Roambi’s latest Blink visualization technology to make combinations of structured data and unstructured content easy to use on leading mobile devices. As part of the partnership, the companies will also conduct joint sales and marketing activities.
