QD Vision’s Seth Coe-Sullivan Named to National Research Council Committee that will Address Environmental, Health, and Safety Aspects of Nanomaterials

Selection highlights industry leadership in environmental, health and safety issues

WATERTOWN, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--QD Vision (www.qdvision.com), developer of Quantum Light™ nanotechnology-based products for solid state lighting and displays, announced that Dr. Seth Coe-Sullivan has been selected as a member of the National Research Council Committee that will develop a research strategy for the environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) aspects of engineered nanomaterials.

The committee was funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to create a conceptual framework for environmental, health, and safety-related research; develop a research plan with short- and long-term research priorities; estimate resources necessary to implement this research plan; and subsequently evaluate research progress over a three year period. Dr. Coe-Sullivan is one of 20 U.S. EH&S experts on the committee, and the only representative from a nanomaterials business.
