CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--This press release is going out because there seems to be some confusion on the type of training JNS Power & Control Systems, Inc. the wholly-owned subsidiary of Ulysses Diversified Holdings Corporation (UDHC) will complete to receive solar energy installer certification.
JNS Power & Control Systems, Inc.’s management and employees will first complete training for local solar certification. Once this course is completed JNS Power & Control Systems, Inc. will be in line to become a solar energy install contractor. As for the company’s union electricians, they will have the opportunity to attend additional training offered to them separately. Jean Howe, President & Chief Executive Officer stated, “I have always encouraged all of my employees to reinvest in themselves and to continue their education. With a highly trained work force I believe we will achieve a competitive edge in the market place.”
Upon completion of this course the company’s electricians will be prepared to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) photovoltaic solar certification. This is a voluntary certification that provides a set of national standards by which PV installers with skills and experience are able to distinguish themselves from the competition. Certification provides a measure of protection to the public by ensuring competency of practitioners.
