NORWALK, Conn.--()--TMC today announced that Rusty Williams, CIO of The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society, a leading health services organization with more than 17,000 employees, will join ShoreTel’s Kevin Gavin in a Keynote address at ITEXPO, on Tuesday, October 5th, at 3:30 PM, in the Los Angeles Convention Center. ITEXPO takes place October 4-6, 2010.
In this session, ShoreTel’s Vice President of Marketing Kevin Gavin will share his views on unified communications, and discuss complexity in the IT and communications environment today. He’ll also share his views on how industries evolve and reach a point where the complexity of the past is alleviated by innovation, and how new technology can transform people's lives.
Kevin will be joined by Mr. Williams, who heads up all technical and operational activities pertaining to information services, including creating and maintaining a corporate information services strategic direction. He will share his experiences on how simplifying communications at his organization will empower more than 17,000 employees across the United States, and offer insight on key areas that audience members should address when evaluating unified communications.
Rusty Williams has spent the last 28 years working in healthcare serving in different software development and management positions. Previously, he has held senior information technology positions for global organizations including Adventist Health Systems and Dynamic Control/Baxter Inc. Rusty holds an MBA Degree from Colorado Technology University, and undergraduate degrees in business and computer science from Southern Missouri State University.
