United States Postal Service Selects Instantis Project & Portfolio Management Software to Manage Enterprise-wide Continuous Improvement Program

The goal of the CI initiative, launched in 2008 is to drive business performance and process improvements across the enterprise in terms of sustainable cost reduction, systemic waste elimination and end-to-end process flow.

After a thorough and exhaustive evaluation of competitive alternatives, Instantis EnterpriseTrack was selected on the basis of scoring highest in 8 of the 13 requirement categories evaluated by the USPS and tied for highest in the remaining 5 categories. The 8 categories for which EnterpriseTrack was deemed a superior solution included project tracking and management functionality; resource management; financial tracking and workflow; strategy management; reporting; knowledge sharing; and administration.

In the initial deployment, the system will be rolled out to 1,400 users and the user count is targeted to climb to approximately 2,000 within six months.
