SFO (Stocks, Futures and Options) Launches Weekly Financial Podcast

CEDAR FALLS, Ia.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SFO (Stocks, Futures and Options), the official advocate for the personal investor, presents the first episode of its free podcast tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 11. “Terry and Todd Talkin’ Money” is a weekly audio program giving individual traders and investors a unique look at the financial markets and what the implications are for their money.

“This is not a typical, buttoned-down financial talk show,” host Terry Ruffolo says. “Rather, it is quite the opposite. It’s two friends, with different financial backgrounds, having a very informal, unrehearsed conversation about money, markets and more.”

Ruffolo and his co-host Todd Tyler take the financial issues and trends that affect individual’s money and discuss them in language that someone does not have to be a financial professional to understand.

“With their network of analysts from around the country, Terry and Todd present the variety of analysis and opinion one expects from a financial program but in a more upbeat style all their own,” SFO executive editor Heather Larson-Blakestad says.

SFO is launching this podcast as a way to complement its written publications, which include a monthly e-magazine, weekly e-newsletter and daily columns and news.

“The audio podcast is another medium our subscribers can use to learn about the markets and prepare themselves to take advantage of new trading and investing opportunities,” Larson-Blakestad says. “The podcast format allows people to listen to the show whenever and wherever they want—running errands, mowing the lawn, commuting to work or making supper, for example.”

The hosts have decades of experience in and around the markets. Ruffolo spent many years as a business and financial reporter and columnist, and Tyler has been investing and trading since 1985.

“Terry and Todd Talkin’ Money” will be updated every Saturday afternoon. Listeners can subscribe to the show’s RSS feed to receive automatic updates, or they can visit SFO’s website (www.sfomag.com) to manually download the files or listen to a streaming broadcast. Previous weeks’ shows will be archived on the website, as well.
