VMIX Secures $2.5 Million to Expand Services in Europe and Asia

Dedicated Services in Western Europe and Singapore Ready for Roll-out

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VMIX (www.vmix.com), a leading online video platform provider, today announced it has received a $2.5-million round of Series C venture funding.

President and CEO of VMIX Pat Burns said the funding was secured to speed execution of the company’s expansion into more markets and roll out of service operations in Europe and Asia.

He noted that VMIX is on plan to establish local ingestion, encoding, storage and delivery services in Western Europe and Singapore by the end of September. “These operations are critical to our global clients who want a single-service provider capable of delivering top performance and scalability worldwide.”

Burns added that the new service centers would also provide the best-possible service for clients based in Asia and the European Union.

VMIX has received a total of $26 Million in venture funding to date.
