LONDON & NEW YORK--()--In a significant expansion of the firm’s European investment banking business, Jefferies announced today the addition of Dominic Lester as a Managing Director and Head of European Technology and Telecommunications Investment Banking. In addition, Daniel Aharoni has joined as a Senior Vice President and Guillaume Taurignan has joined as Vice President, both focusing on coverage of the European technology sector. All three bankers will be based in the firm’s London office.

Mr. Lester joins Jefferies from UBS where he spent nearly 20 years, most recently as a Managing Director and Head of Technology Investment Banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Mr. Lester also brings to Jefferies his global experience of having spent a significant amount of his earlier career at UBS in the United States covering technology and telecommunications companies. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brown University.
Mr. Aharoni brings to Jefferies 11 years of investment banking experience, most recently as an Executive Director at UBS in London in the Technology Investment Banking Group responsible for coverage of European semiconductor and technology hardware companies. Previously Mr. Aharoni was a Vice President at Dresdner Kleinwort in London in that firm’s Technology Investment Banking Group. Mr. Aharoni received his Bachelor's degree in Law from Oxford University.
Mr. Taurignan brings to Jefferies more than seven years of technology investment banking experience, most recently as a Director in UBS’ European Technology Investment Banking Group based in London. Prior to UBS, Mr. Taurignan was at Societe Generale in Paris in the Technology Investment Banking Group. Mr. Taurignan received his Masters Degree in International Finance from HEC Paris and his Masters Degree in Telecom Engineering from Telecom SudParis.
