Advanced Energy Announces First European Grid Connections for Solaron® PV Inverters

Momentum Grows for Solaron^® 500E Inverter, Now Selected for Several Multi-Megawatt Projects in the Region

VALENCIA, Spain--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advanced Energy Industries, Inc. (NasdaqGM: AEIS) today announced that the company has established its first grid connections at multiple sites located in Germany and the Czech Republic. The new solar powered facilities utilize the company’s award-winning Solaron^® 500E grid-tied solar PV inverters to provide renewable energy to customers in the European region.

The Solaron 500E, a high-efficiency, transformerless, grid-tie PV inverter was designed specifically for the European PV market. It was selected by these customers because of its ability to maximize power delivery and deliver record-setting efficiency levels and unmatched system uptime. The installations include both rooftop and ground-mounted systems. In recent months, the company has seen increasing sales momentum for its Solaron PV inverters in countries across Europe, with notable orders from companies based in the European Union (EU) due to be installed later this year.

In addition to the exhibit, the company will participate in the Balance of System Components forum on Tuesday, September 7, at 8:30 a.m.
