To prepare for any unforeseen circumstance such as a natural disaster, the Red Cross recommends a simple, three-step approach: Get a Kit, Make a Plan, and Stay Informed. A vital part of every kit is a self-powered emergency radio, which provides up-to-date information and weather conditions – even when power in the home fails.

The collection of emergency radios by Etón are self-powered and charged by four sources, including dynamo/hand crank, alkaline batteries, AC adapter or solar power.
