LOVEFiLM Strikes Major Digital Deal with MGM

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LOVEFiLM, Europe’s leading provider of premium content on demand or by mail, has agreed to a major UK distribution deal with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (MGM) to enable its members to watch MGM titles online and on Internet-enabled devices through the LOVEFiLM Player.

MGM boasts one of the largest film libraries of any Hollywood studio and the agreement sees LOVEFiLM bolster its digital streaming offering with a selection of top titles.

MGM Classics will be available to LOVEFiLM members as part of their subscription including the multi-Oscar winning films West Side Story and The Apartment as well as the original 1974 BAFTA-nominated The Taking of Pelham One Two Three, among other award-winning films. New MGM releases will be available to access instantly on a transactional basis.
