ALLPRO Imaging’s ScanX Discover™ Assists Restoration of World’s Last Wooden Whaleship, the C.W. Morgan, at Mystic Seaport

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ALLPRO Imaging is utilizing its ScanX Discover portable radiography system for non-destructive testing of the Charles W. Morgan, the world’s last surviving wooden whaling vessel, at Mystic Seaport, Museum of America and the Sea. The ScanX Discover’s state-of-the-art computed radiography technology is being used to examine the ship’s structure for needed repairs. Utilizing the ScanX Discover, shipyard personnel at Mystic Seaport can now clearly see how this historic wooden ship was constructed in 1841.
