Windstream Signs Multiyear Agreement With Acxiom For High-performance IT Infrastructure Management

LITTLE ROCK, Ark.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Windstream, a provider of voice, high-speed Internet and high-definition digital TV services in 23 states, has signed a multiyear agreement with Acxiom^® Corporation (Nasdaq: ACXM) for enterprise-wide IT infrastructure management services.

Acxiom is providing fully managed mainframe services as well as co-location services for mid-range servers. In addition, the agreement calls for a seamless migration of Windstream’s IT infrastructure to Acxiom’s data center as well as an aggressive implementation timeline. Through careful planning and a strong partnership between the two companies, the migration was measured as a success when it resulted in no interruption of service to Windstream’s business and clients.
