Ecologic Transportation, Inc. Appoints Dr. Martin A. Blake DBA, MBA, BSc to Board of Directors

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ecologic Transportation, Inc. (“Ecologic Transportation” or the “Company”) (OTCBB: EGCT) today announced it has appointed Dr. Martin A. Blake DBA, MBA, BSc. to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Blake currently serves as the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability and Social Policy for the Royal Mail Group plc, the postal services company for the United Kingdom. The Royal Mail Group is the UK’s largest single employer with more than 195,000 employees, 14,000 retail outlets and a fleet of 35,000 vehicles.

Mr. Blake managed the strategy and delivery of social and environmental programs for the Royal Mail Group creating an internationally recognized Corporate Responsibility Program that won over 75 national and international awards including the World Mail Awards for carbon management and the Carbon Trust Standard. Mr. Blake was instrumental in the commercialization of hydrogen fuel cell technology for use in vehicles and buildings in the postal sector and is now recognized as an expert in hydrogen.

Mr. Blake earned his Doctorate in Business Administration from Yorkshire, UK. He is a national and international keynote speaker on sustainability and carbon reduction. He is active in numerous sustainability organizations and sits on national and international Boards focused on sustainability.
