Telos Experts to Participate in 2010 Air Force Chief of Staff Team Excellence Awards

ASHBURN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cybersecurity experts from Telos^® Corporation have been selected to participate in the 2010 Air Force Chief of Staff Team Excellence Awards competition. They will be part of the Application Software Assurance Center of Excellence (ASACoE) team, which will represent the Air Force Materiel Command in this year’s awards program.

Telos employees play a vital role on the Application Software Assurance Center of Excellence team, a cybersecurity program that Telos jointly established with the Air Force and has led, as the prime contractor, since the Center’s inception in 2007. The ASACoE team is one of 21 teams competing for five awards to be presented by the Air Force Chief of Staff in a ceremony Sept. 14 at the Gaylord National Hotel in National Harbor, Md. The awards ceremony takes place amid the annual Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition Sept. 13-15. The ASACoE will also have a booth at the exposition, staffed by Air Force and Telos personnel, to provide insight and demonstrations of the risks associated with application security and the techniques used to mitigate them.

The annual awards program recognizes those who use a systematic approach to enhance mission capability, improve operational performance and create sustained results.
