PITTSBURGH--()--Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation will showcase its range of products and solutions designed to assist federal stakeholders achieve greater energy efficiency and sustainability at the GovEnergy show at the Dallas Convention Center, in Dallas, Texas, from Aug. 16-17. A range of energy management solutions designed to improve system efficiency, reduce energy consumption and emissions and related costs will be on display at booth number 549.

A workshop on achieving improvements in energy efficiency will be held on Aug. 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Representatives of E M C Engineers, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Eaton Corporation, will discuss how commissioning can be used in buildings and how low-to-no-cost options and continuous commissioning can yield energy savings. The workshop will be given by professional engineers Michael Hardy and Celeste Cizik.

The GovEnergy workshop and trade show provides effective energy management training to federal employees and government stakeholders. Eaton recently reached several agreements with government organizations including $8 million in electrical products and services for the San Antonio Military Medical Center on the Fort Sam Houston Army base in Texas, the design and installation of a turn-key Solar Photovoltaic (PV) System at the Albuquerque, New Mexico Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Health Care System, and supplying hybrid electric power systems for 35 fuel-efficient shuttle buses purchased by the U.S. General Services Administration for use on U.S. military bases.
