Red Lambda Names Technology Start-up Veteran Todd Krautkremer to Chief Operating Officer Post

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Red Lambda, Inc., a leading provider of massively scalable and identity-aware network security software, announced the appointment of Todd Krautkremer, technology start-up veteran, to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Krautkremer brings to Red Lambda over 20 years of executive leadership, strategy, and sales and marketing experience.

Mr. Krautkremer will oversee Red Lambda's global growth strategy with responsibility for setting business strategy and sales, marketing, business development and strategic partnering. He will report to Mr. Yusefzadeh.

Mr. Krautkremer has over 20 years’ experience in private and public companies spanning wireline and wireless network technologies within enterprise and service provider environments, including executive roles in three successful start-ups. He was previously President and Chief Executive Officer at Gearworks, where he raised over $36 million in venture financing and led the company to the ranks of one of the largest and fastest growing players in carrier-delivered, location-based mobile business applications. Gearworks merged with Xora in August of 2009.

Prior to Gearworks, he was Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Packeteer (now BlueCoat Systems), where he was instrumental in establishing the company as the early global market leader in application-based traffic management. He also served as Vice President of Marketing at Sync Research. Other positions included senior sales and marketing roles at Siemens and corporate network planning at AT&T.

Mr. Krautkremer has a degree in computer sciences from Brown College. He was nominated for an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2009 and holds two patents on managed application services and traffic management.
