LOUISVILLE, Colo.--()--Wireless Seismic, developer of an innovative wireless seismic data acquisition system with real-time data return, announced today that it has named Gary E. Jones to its Board of Directors.

Gary Jones has served as President of several oilfield service companies, including WesternGeco, a division of Schlumberger, the world’s largest geophysical contractor, and Baker Atlas, a major logging and downhole technology services provider. With a strong background in geophysics and geological engineering, Jones has served as an investor, consultant, non executive Chairman, or board member for several upstream oil service start-up companies and currently serves on the board of Ingrain, a digital rock physics firm.
Jones joins existing Wireless Seismic board members: Roy Kligfield, Wireless’ Chairman and Chief Executive Officer; Doug Crice, Founding Director; David Fisher, VP- Drilling Services, Chesapeake Energy Corporation; and Larry Lunardi, VP- Geophysics, Chesapeake Energy Corporation.
