FALLS CHURCH, Va.--()--CSC (NYSE:CSC) announced today that the U.S. Army awarded the company a task order to provide technical and engineering support for its Aviation and Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC). The task order, which was awarded during CSC’s fiscal 2011 first quarter, has a one-year base period, four one-year options and an estimated total value of $104 million. The task order was awarded under the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command’s Expedited Professional and Engineering Support Services blanket purchase agreement, which CSC won in 2005.

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will provide technology integration and insertion engineering support for systems engineering and digitization projects and objectives. This support includes communications, simulation and live training transformation technologies.
