EDGEWOOD, N.Y.--()--CPI Aerostructures, Inc. (“CPI Aero®”) (NYSE Amex: CVU) announced today that it has received a purchase order from a leading global aerospace and defense company to produce aircraft structural assemblies, valued at $3.2 million. Work on this order will commence immediately and deliveries are scheduled to occur over a twelve month period beginning in early 2011.

CPI Aero has received six previous orders for this assembly from the same customer and is currently completing a contract that was awarded in September 2009.
