3D Snoopy Patrols the Skies Over Europe in New Xbox Game

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The skies over war torn Europe and North Africa just became safer today thanks to Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang. Utah-based Smart Bomb Interactive (www.smartbombinteractive.com) today released Snoopy Flying Ace, the new online aerial dogfighting game on Xbox Live Arcade.

Snoopy Flying Ace puts players in the cockpit as one of the Peanuts characters or their own Xbox avatar to engage with as many as 16 other players in a World War I battle that will determine the fate of the war.

In Nov. 2006 Smart Bomb Interactive became the first company to create 3D computer generated Peanuts characters following the death of creator Charles M. Schulz on Feb. 2, 2000. The company now holds an exclusive license to bring the characters to the current generation of game systems, including the Xbox 360, Wii, and Playstation 3.
