Institutional Life Markets Association Hosts Second Annual European Investor Summit

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Institutional Life Markets Association, also known as ILMA, announced today their Second Annual European Investor Summit. The conference titled, "Continued Emergence of Longevity as an Alternative Class", will take place on Tuesday, May 18^th, 2010 at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel, in London, England.

Following last years successful inaugural European Investor Conference, this year’s summit will cover a series of topics such as opportunities for investment in longevity and mortality risks assets, independent investment research of the asset class, selection of third party advisors and challenges to the continued growth of the asset class. Attendees also will have the opportunity to hear from leading third party life expectancy underwriters on factors which are not captured in actuarial tables that could impact longevity such as net worth, location of residence and insured status. Additionally, investors will learn of the critical emerging role of service providers for investors in the asset.
