Inphi to Highlight High-Speed Analog Connectivity Components for Next-Generation Networks at OFC/NFOEC 2010

At OFC/NFOEC 2010, the world’s leading international conference for optical communications and networking professionals, Inphi will highlight its broad portfolio of high-speed analog connectivity components for next-generation networks. Addressing the emerging demands for next-generation 100G, Inphi will also showcase its 2850TA, the industry’s first OIF-compliant 100G coherent transimpedance amplifier (TIA), and its 2251TA, the highest sensitivity linear TIA for 40G DQPSK applications.

Demonstrations:

Visit Inphi’s Booth #813 to see its Eye Monitor demonstration, which will show testing of high-speed serial interfaces. For design, debugging and production, digital signals are analyzed using a Digital Eye Analyzer (DEA). A DEA is a digital sampling scope that can plot and analyze the eye diagram of the digital signal. Various key parameters for digital signals, such as extinction ratio, optical average power, signal to noise ratio, rise/fall time, jitter, and eye mask compliance are specified by the pertinent standard and should be guaranteed and maintained for reliable operation. DEAs are used to measure these parameters to validate the compliance. Traditional DEAs are expensive and bulky, which limits their use. In our demonstration, we will showcase a low-cost DEA that can benefit field and production testing as well as a lab bench-top tester.
