FALLS CHURCH, Va.--()--CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that the Department of Defense awarded the company a contract to provide information technology help desk services to the Department of Defense Dependents Schools-Europe (DoDDS-E). The contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options, bringing the estimated total five-year value to $27 million.

DoDDS-E provides instruction to more than 35,000 school-age children of active duty military and civilian employees at 81 schools located in Portugal, Bahrain, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
Under the terms of the contract, CSC will provide information technology management services and support throughout Europe. Services include system and network administration and software development support. CSC currently performs the same work on another contract with DoDDS – Pacific.
