In a recent global study, GBC found that warm-up time was one of the biggest complaints consumers have about their laminators, and overall lamination speed was another. Based on these findings and other consumer research, GBC developed a new heating technology for desktop lamination that uses infrared light. This infrared technology was applied to both models with great success, enabling shorter warm-up time and quicker lamination.
