About Brianna's Pennies of Love
Brianna’s Pennies of Love (www.penniesoflove.org) is a 501(c) (3) organization with the mission of providing art and craft supplies to the Outpatient Children’s Hematology and Oncology Center playrooms at The Strictly Pediatrics building located next to the Dell Children’s Hospital. The Hemo/Onco Center serves children from Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Pflugerville, and other outlying areas. These children have special medical needs and can be at the hospital anywhere from one to eight hours a day for medical treatment with little to do. As this organization has grown, she is now providing supplies to the inpatient playrooms and “Isolation Bags” to children who are unable to leave their rooms. This year she is hoping to do even more and would like to be able to provide these same extras to other hospitals in the state of Texas.
