News Over Wireless Selects mOcean Mobile as Its Local Mobile Ad Platform

Move helps enhance local ad serving capabilities

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, mOcean Mobile announced that its MAST for Publishers platform has been selected to power the local mobile advertising serving for News Over Wireless. The deal with mOcean Mobile will improve News Over Wireless’s ability to serve locally sold mobile advertising inventory across its network of over 140 television stations.

The mOcean Mobile platform allows the News Over Wireless network, which includes ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC affiliates, as well as independent television stations, to monetize their mobile sites more efficiently. The platform enables locally targeted mobile advertisements, including rich media and video. The company has integrated the mOcean Mobile platform with its content management system to provide a robust solution for its partners. Local advertising is being served across News Over Wireless’s mobile Web sites and iPhone apps, and will be added to future platforms currently under development.
