Frontier Airlines Adds Eight New Routes Through Codeshare Partnership with Midwest Airlines
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Frontier Airlines today announced further expansion of its codeshare partnership with Milwaukee-based Midwest Airlines. Effective immediately, for travel beginning Feb. 16, 2010, Frontier is able to sell tickets to eight Midwest destinations out of Kansas City International Airport (MCI) under the Frontier code. In addition, Midwest is now able to sell tickets under the Midwest code for Frontier’s nonstop flights to Denver International Airport (DEN) from MCI. Also, effective today, customers can book connecting codeshare itineraries through Milwaukee, Denver and Kansas City, opening up significantly more travel options.

In the next few months, further expansion of the codeshare will include two-stop routes and Frontier’s international routes. Once these routes are added, customers of both airlines will have complete access to the combined networks of Frontier and Midwest.
The new destinations out of MCI include nonstop service to Boston, New York-LaGuardia, Washington, D.C.-National, and Los Angeles. A detailed route map outlining all eight routes can be found on our Web site at FrontierAirlines.com.
Customers of both airlines are able to participate in each other’s respective frequent flyer programs – Frontier’s EarlyReturns® program and Midwest’s Midwest Miles program – to earn miles and redeem them for free tickets.
