AXPONA, sponsored by Stereophile magazine, is the first consumer audio show on the East Coast in several years. Attendees will have a rare opportunity to mingle freely with industry leaders, manufacturers and experts from around the world, while enjoying live demonstrations of equipment and software. They’ll see and hear hundreds of world-class products and brands, including many almost never seen outside showrooms, and learn about the latest technologies, including new techniques for downloads, storage, playback and mobile applications.

AXPONA-sponsor Stereophile magazine editor John Atkinson will host a broad program of seminars throughout the show. In addition, Richard Bird, president of Rives Audio, an award-winning acoustical design specialist, will lead a seminar on acoustic enhancements, revealing the best ways to optimize a listening environment, and Dr. Mark Waldrep, founder and president of legendary AIX Records, will demonstrate recording techniques and lead a seminar on high-definition audio. On the music side, Ukrainian classical violinist Mikhail Levitsky will perform in the Wyndham’s atrium during the day. Other musicians are being scheduled for evening performances.
