STG Wins $39 Million USAISEC Contract

STG to Deliver IA Support Service to USAISEC, IASED

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--STG, Inc. (STG) has been awarded a $39 million, 2-year contract to deliver information assurance (IA) services to the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC), Information Assurance Systems Engineering Directorate (IASED). Under the terms of this procurement, STG will provide IA support services for several IASED customers, including Program Executive Offices, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Energy, Department of Homeland Security and other Department of Defense (DoD) or federal agencies.

USAISEC provides systems engineering, installation, integration, implementation and evaluation support for communications and information technology systems worldwide. To support this task, STG will perform IA engineering, discovery and certification visits from our Sierra Vista facility. We will conduct research, engineering and network testing of servers and platforms to determine security engineering solutions. Our local laboratory will provide in-house staff training using lessons obtained from IASED and other DoD sources to familiarize our staff with IASED processes and policies to ensure full understanding of USAISEC and IASED mission requirements.
