MidemNet Academy: a New Digital Training Program

PARIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MIDEM is launching the first edition of MidemNet Academy, a professional digital training program open to all MIDEM participants during the market, which runs 24-27 January 2010 in Cannes. Focusing on interactivity and offering a very wide range of themes, the training sessions will provide concrete responses to music industry professionals looking to learn more about digital tools.

The first session, “Digital marketing for under €1,000” will deliver the recipe for an economical, efficient and profitable marketing strategy. A session dedicated to Twitter will present the possibilities for artists to use the social networking tool for marketing and commercial ends. One course will outline a raft of innovative services to help extend the live experience and bring fans together beyond the concert performance, and another will be dedicated to Smartphone applications.
