Timothy Ryder Joins RW Smith as Midwest Regional Director

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Timothy Ryder has joined RW Smith, one of the country’s leading fixed income interdealer brokers, www.rwsbroker.com, as Midwest Regional Director based in the Chicago office, announced Paige Pierce, Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Ryder’s responsibilities include all facets of sales management plus hiring for one of the company’s fastest growing regions. According to Ms. Pierce, “He will have a constant eye toward hiring the right candidates, establishing sales and trading territories, and setting business development and production goals. He will also manage progress and performance to achieve maximum profitability and growth within the region.”

Mr. Ryder comes to RW Smith from JP Morgan Chase in Chicago, where he was a Fixed Income Trader. Previously he was with 1^st Global in Dallas as the Fixed Income Trading Director and Manager of Capital Markets. His resume also includes serving as Senior Mortgage Finance Analyst at Citigroup, St. Louis, and as a Fixed Income Trader and Operations specialist at Edward Jones, St. Louis.

In its Freehold, N.J., office, RW Smith has hired Robert Del Prete as a Junior Broker. Previously he was a Fund Accountant Associate with State Street Corporation.

Mr. Ryder is a 2009 graduate of Baylor University with a master of business administration, and a 1999 graduate of Lindenwood University with a bachelor of arts degree. Mr. Del Prete is a 2008 graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor of science degree in economics.
