Kyocera Celebrates 25 Years Producing Advanced Ceramic Cutlery

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kyocera is celebrating its 25 years of manufacturing advanced ceramic kitchen knives, with over 5.3 million knives sold to date. After a quarter century spent continuously enhancing the material and design of ceramic blades, Kyocera has virtually perfected its advanced ceramic knives. Due to the extreme hardness of advanced ceramic materials, the blades maintain their sharp edge much longer than steel blades. Ceramic blades never corrode or transfer metal ions so flavors are not altered and food remains fresh. The ergonomic handles and light weight of the knives reduce fatigue and simplify repetitive food preparation.
