DMBGroup, Inc Announces the Release of DataExpress Open Platform Version 4.0

FLOWER MOUND, Texas--()--DMBGroup, Inc, a Texas corporation, announces the release of DataExpress Open Platform (DXOP) version 4.0, a significantly enhanced and re-engineered version of its secure managed file transfer product.

“This is by far our most significant release since product acquisition, poised to make a deep impact on the market. We are excited and energized by the opportunity DXOP 4.0 provides to enhance our existing relationships and create new business partnerships.”

DXOP 4.0 features an entirely new browser-based user interface. The product now offers larger and more sizable workspace, better screen management, faster performance, and “near” real time monitoring.

Michelle Marost, President of DMBGroup, says “improving security and manageability features for DXOP 4.0 was paramount in our re-architecting DXOP. We felt our customers deserved greater control and peace-of-mind when moving their data. We believe that fully deploying the secure features enabled within our DXOP 4.0 release guarantees data fidelity.”

DXOP 4.0 architecture replaces the legacy DXOP Child Server feature with an ultra-low footprint DXOP Secure Gateway (DXSG). DXSG incorporates active file streaming to the DXOP Core Server and provides an insulated presence within the DMZ. This gateway-type portal dramatically improves security, reduces risk, and significantly reduces the time-to-deliver data. Implementing DXSG reduces the hardware requirements of pre-DXOP 4.0 implementations. A version of DXSG is available which is compatible with DataExpress for Integrity NonStop.

In addition to significant architectural improvements, the DXOP operational environment now includes Macintosh OSX 10.0., Sun Solaris, Linux, and current Microsoft Windows Servers. Sun’s multi-platform MySQL database is now supported across all operational platforms.

Additional protocol support has been added for SFTP server, FTP and SFTP client connections, proxy services, HTTP server hosting, and WebDAV.

“This release of DXOP is our most solid and progressive release ever, providing improved security architecture, new and useful features, improved performance, and stability,” said Billy Whittington, CEO for DMBGroup. “This is by far our most significant release since product acquisition, poised to make a deep impact on the market. We are excited and energized by the opportunity DXOP 4.0 provides to enhance our existing relationships and create new business partnerships.”
