SAN JOSE, Calif.--()--Intransa, the leader in simple, green video data management and retention, today announced that its video surveillance appliances are now available pre-loaded with exacqVision® open architecture VMS (video management system) software by Exacq Technologies.
“Having exacqVision® software pre-installed on Intransa’s VideoAppliance solution is a good option for customers who do not have the resources or time to build their own surveillance servers with commodity hardware”
Exacq (www.exacq.com), headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a leading developer of open architecture, cross platform VMS software and hardware for security and surveillance solutions, and its exacqVision video management software is a well respected market leader.
“Having exacqVision® software pre-installed on Intransa’s VideoAppliance solution is a good option for customers who do not have the resources or time to build their own surveillance servers with commodity hardware,” notes Tom Buckley, director of sales and marketing for Exacq Technologies. “The Intransa VideoAppliance is a great complement to our own exacqVision servers and hybrid servers.”
The exacqVision VMS solution was previously tested and certified by the Intransa StorAlliance Technology Partner Labs for integration with the company’s video data management and retention (VDMR) platforms, scaling from 2 to 1,500 terabytes (TB) of video capacity. More than 150 applications and products, including exacqVision, plus IP cameras, megapixel cameras, DVRs, NVRs, video management systems, physical security information management systems, life safety, access control, authentication, and biometrics are certified for risk-free integration with Intransa VDMR platforms. Exacq is one of the first to certify their applications for the new Intransa VideoAppliance family.
“Exacq is a proven leader in video surveillance and is often requested by our customers,” said Bud Broomhead, CEO of Intransa. “Having exacqVision as a pre-loaded option on each of our Intransa VideoAppliance systems is of tremendous benefit, and I expect it will be a very popular choice for new video surveillance deployments.”
Intransa VideoAppliance systems eliminate many of the issues associated with commodity hardware, bringing simplicity and reduced cost to video surveillance. Each Intransa VideoAppliance is optimized for video, eliminating the risk of improperly sizing and configuring commodity hardware, and ensuring maximum performance and availability in the demanding 24x7x365 world of surveillance.
Pre-loaded with exacqVision, the power and capabilities of advanced IP surveillance systems is delivered by Intransa with the ease of an appliance, without any of the complexity or challenges of commodity hardware.
Intransa will be participating in the National Retail Federation Loss Prevention Conference and Expo being held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, June 15 - 17. The exacqVision VMS software will be on display in Intransa booth number 813.
