Former Honeywell Executive Named CEO at Adura Technologies

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Adura Technologies, which provides turnkey wireless lighting systems for existing buildings, today named former Honeywell International, Inc. (HON) executive Jack Bolick as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Bolick, former President of Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS), replaces Adura Co-Founder Zach Gentry, who will become its Chief Strategy Officer.

Adura Technologies is a smart grid technology venture that applies low-power wireless mesh networking to the lighting market. Lighting accounts for 38 percent of U.S. electricity consumption, which is the single largest contributor to U.S. carbon emissions. Lighting is also one of the few electrical loads that provides instantaneous, pure subtractive demand reduction to overtaxed electrical grids.
