Physician Groups Come Together to Promote Coordinated Care

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--A collection of America’s premier physician groups, independent practice associations and medical groups have formed a coalition aimed at putting the patient first by working with the Obama Administration and the 111^th Congress to reform America’s health care system. Physician Groups for Coordinated Care (PGCC) will champion the implementation of payment methodologies, like those used in Medicare Advantage, that support accountable, coordinated care infrastructures and that provide incentives for higher quality patient care and better patient outcomes.

The Organization and Development of Physician Groups Across the Nation.
