--()--Kaiser Permanente Bellflower’s Medical Center – More than 50 medical professionals were needed to help deliver 8 healthy babies. Although the logistics of the birth were complex, the hospital had a detailed plan in place to respond quickly. This required having a delivery team of more than 50 people on standby. The teams included physicians, nurses and staff from OB, Anesthesiology and Neonatalogy. The delivery team included: 52 medical professionals led by Dr. Gupta, Dr. Henry and Dr. Maples: 12 doctors, 2 anesthesiologists, 7 MD's for babies, 7 respiratory therapists, 11 NICU nurses, 13 other RN's, and 9 other health professionals.
