Healthvision Announces Third Quarter Results

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Healthvision closed the third quarter with 60 transactions, including 15 new client engagements. “We grew our customer base as well as extended relationships with existing customers,” stated Russell Fleischer, Healthvision’s chief executive officer. “We expect to see continued growth as our acquisition of MediSolution’s healthcare division brings further customer synergies and opportunities.”

Highland District Hospital is a prime example of a new third quarter client:

Highland District Hospital blends modern technology with personalized service. Located in Hillsboro, Ohio, Highland District Hospital provides emergency care, obstetrics and gynecology, and inpatient and outpatient primary care to the community.

The hospital selected Healthvision's Cloverleaf® Integration Suite as their central integration technology to be utilized with Highland's selection of a new Hospital Information System.

In addition to Healthvision’s customer wins in the third quarter, the company also finalized the purchase of the majority of MediSolution’s Healthcare Products & Services Division’s assets. MediSolution is a leading healthcare technology provider headquartered in Montreal, Quebec. This allows Healthvision to expand their current reach further into the Canadian marketplace.

Other significant successes that occurred during third quarter include:

CareSpark -- a non-profit regional health information exchange formed to improve health in a 17-county area of northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia through the collaborative sharing of health information exchange. CareSpark has now successfully demonstrated the ability to exchange information with other similar networks across the country through their implementation of Cloverleaf® Interface Engine and Healthvision's Identity Services which leverages Initiate Master Data Service™.

Healthvision Annual User Conference - over 100 attendees participated in this year's conference held at the historic Adolphus Hotel in Dallas, Texas. The conference spanned three days and boasted over 35 individual sessions.

The Innovative Solutions Awards were also announced during the conference. These award winners, which included Alberta Health Services, RelayHealth, Allina Hospitals & Clinics, and St. Jude Medical, Inc., were recognized for going above and beyond to find creative ways to implement Healthvision products and solutions to meet the specific needs of their organization.
