GrapeCity Acquires Data Dynamics

Acquisition Includes All Data Dynamics Products and Existing Customer Base

COLUMBUS, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GrapeCity, an international software development firm, today announced that it has executed an acquisition agreement with Data Dynamics, Ltd., a developer of award-winning data analysis and reporting software components. Under the terms of the agreement, GrapeCity will be purchasing all Data Dynamics products and the resulting revenues.

GrapeCity, which has localized, sold, and supported Data Dynamics products in the highly competitive Japanese market for more than a decade, will continue to develop and support Data Dynamics products worldwide, including the upcoming release of ActiveReports in the first quarter of 2009. The transition will be phased in over a six-month period, beginning in January 2009.
