Vega Announces Schedule for Poker Tour of the Americas Season One

LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--VEGA PROMOTIONAL SYSTEMS, INC. (VGPR.PK) today announced the schedule for its Poker Tour of the Americas (PTA) inaugural season.

Vegas plan is to hold five tournaments during the Tours 2009 season, with plans to expand the Tour to six tournaments in season two. The tentative schedule for season one is as follows:

February 21-27     Guayaquil, Ecuador
April 10-17 San Jose, Costa Rica
June 5-12 Vancouver, British Columbia
August 15-21 Cartagena, Colombia
October 24-30 Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

The location of the season ending Tournament of Champions to crown the 2009 champion of the PTA will be held in North America and will be announced in the next few weeks.

In addition to promoting the PTA, Vega is the Executive Producer of the video programming and plans to air the tournaments throughout North and South America. Since Vega will also own the programming rights, the Company is currently negotiating for network airtime that would in turn allow the Company to sell its own advertising for the programs.

The tournaments are invitational events with players from all over the world able to win seats via online and live local satellite tournaments.
