PASADENA, Calif.--()--eHarmony, the Internet’s most-trusted relationship service provider, has partnered with AOL to bring scientific matchmaking to AOL Personals, a complete online dating service for singles. As part of the U.S. partnership, AOL Personals will feature eHarmony’s singles matching service, which uses a patented Compatibility Matching System® to present members with highly compatible matches based on 29 Dimensions™ of personality. AOL has also created and will spotlight an “eHarmony Boutique,” which will offer visitors compelling dating and relationship content from the eHarmony Advice site.
“With an eight-year track-record of initiating meaningful long-term relationships, eHarmony can help AOL Personals users take some of the guess-work out of meeting new people.”
eHarmony’s Compatibility Matching System narrows the field from millions of prospective singles to a highly select group of members who share deep levels of compatibility. The company’s service matches people on core personality traits that are scientifically proven to predict happier long-term relationships. A Harris Interactive study recently found that, on average, 236 eHarmony members marry every day in the United States as a result of being matched by eHarmony.
As part of this partnership, AOL users will be able to register for eHarmony’s singles matching service directly from AOL Personals. Once registered, a convenient login button on AOL Personals will take them directly to their eHarmony account. eHarmony’s service and dating advice content will also be promoted across the AOL.com portal.
“The partnership between AOL Personals and eHarmony effectively unites a premiere online content and search provider with the best online Compatibility Matching System,” said eHarmony CEO Greg Waldorf. “With an eight-year track-record of initiating meaningful long-term relationships, eHarmony can help AOL Personals users take some of the guess-work out of meeting new people.”
In addition to being featured on AOL Personals, eHarmony’s singles matching service and eHarmony Advice content are also featured on Comcast.net in the United States and the Yahoo!7 portal in Australia.
