Morton International Announces Purchase of McCormicks Season-All® Brand Seasoning Line

CHICAGO--()--Morton Salt, a division of Morton International, announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Season-All® brand seasoned salt line from McCormick & Company for $15 million in cash. This purchase supports Morton Salts strategy of expanding its specialty salt portfolio, which today includes Natures Seasons®, Coarse Kosher and Sea Salts. The Season-All® seasoning line includes Original, Garlic, Spicy, 25% Less Sodium and Crusting Blend products.

Morton will continue to utilize the Season-All® trademark and formula under the Morton Salt brand name.

We see the addition of Season-All® as a terrific complement to our current offerings in the seasoning aisle, said Carol Panozzo, Vice President Consumer Products, Brand Expansion and Strategic Planning. It is a product that already enjoys fantastic consumer recognition and will be a great fit within Mortons product mix.
