TIBURON, Calif.--()--Jon Peddie Research will host a distinguished panel of industry experts to share their insights to what 2009 promises for ray tracing and rasterization at an exclusive press-only luncheon on Wednesday, August 13, at the Palm Restaurant in Los Angeles during SIGGRAPH 2008.
“Intel, ATI and Nvidia all say they can do ray tracing. Can they?”
Discussions will include the merits of ray tracing compared to conventional rasterization, and whether the GPU architecture or the many x86 core architecture will be better suited to deliver the amazing cinematic quality results of real-time ray tracing.
