TEMPE, Ariz.--()--Syntax-Brillian (NASDAQ:BRLC) today announced that the recently disclosed sale of CompUSA, a retailer of Olevia brand high-definition LCD monitors and televisions, will not impact the company’s accounts receivables.

“Our payment terms with CompUSA is on an advance payments arrangement,” says James Li, Syntax-Brillian’s CEO. “We have no outstanding accounts receivables from this vendor as inventory shipped to CompUSA for the holiday selling season was paid for prior to shipping. In addition, the ongoing ramp of exciting new retail partnerships such as Target in 2007, have created additional shelf space for our products in the U.S. retail market.”
